TemplateMapper
TemplateMapper is a tool that converts your legacy documents to match the formatting in new templates,
even if:
- Format names are different between the old and new document designs
- Master Page usage is different between the old and new document designs
- Your legacy documents require processing to prepare them to be mapped
TemplateMapper provides a GUI for building format mapping tables, and a project
palette for managing the process of mapping whole books to new templates.
If you need to bring different documentation sets into a single look and feel,
if you want to re-design your documentation, or if you are bringing a new documentation
set into your library, TemplateMapper is the tool to use.

TemplateMapper is a licensed product with prices as follows:
- 1 - 4 seats, $200.00 each
- 5 - 10 seats, $150 each
- 10-pack - $1000.00
Licensed customers register to receive a user account. Users can log on to get TemplateMapper
upgrades, as well as any available freeware TemplateMapper add-ons. Registered users receive
notifications of upgrades or other news directly related to TemplateMapper.
CudSpan is not interested in spamming you, and anyway, I don't really know how to do
SPAM, nor do I even have a clue about how to sell your private information. Bottom
line, I respect your privacy, and only want registration info so I can push out fixes
and upgrades.

Download the evaluation version here. It provides the GUI for TemplateMapper, but not
the engine that performs the swaps. You can use the evaluation version to set up valid mapping tables
and projects. This should give you an idea of how TemplateMapper can streamline your process.
INSTALLATION:
To install, unzip the package and move all the files except the PDF file into your
FrameMaker plugins directory, then restart FrameMaker. The PDF file includes more
detailed installation instructions.
